In 1977 Bay Laurel Arabians began blending the best and most suitable breeding stock available with special attention paid to:

    • Conformation suitable for distance trail use and show

    • Success in both halter and performance

    • Temperament

    • Pedigrees of excellence

With a distinct emphasis on correct conformation, BLA proves the adage that “pretty is as pretty does.” All BLA horses have been raised on hilly pastures and have learned how to “use themselves” and to socialize. Horses are generally started in the round-pen, then conditioned on mountain trails. All are trained to halter and trailer as babies.
